We are recruiting people with moderate to severe psoriasis for an investigational research trial. All subjects will be treated with Etanercept, an FDA-approved medication for psoriasis. Etanercept is administered by subcutaneous injection once or twice weekly. In addition, some individuals will be randomly assigned to additional simultaneous treatment with an FDA-approved oral medication for psoriasis, Methotrexate. Some individuals will get a placebo pill instead of Methotrexate.
